    Day 1: Home City - Shanghai
    Fly to Shanghai, China’s commercial capital.

    Day 2: Arrive Shanghai (D)
    Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred via coach to Hanghzou, one of the most renowned and prosperous cities of China and well knowned for its beautiful natural scenery. Overnight at the Redstar Culture Hotel or similar 4-star. Enjoy the day at leisure.

    Day 3: Hangzhou - Suzhou (B/D)
    After breakfast, enjoy a boat ride on the breathtakingly beautiful West Lake. Also visit the Dragon Well Tea Plantation and the Six Harmony Pagoda. Then drive towards Suzhou, a city renowned for its stone bridges, canals and meticulously designed gardens. Overnight at the Gloria Plaza Hotel or similar 4-star.

    Day 4: Suzhou - Tongli - Shanghai (B)
    After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Master of Nets Garden, one of the finest in China. Afterwards, visit a Silk Factory. Watch the process of how a silk blanket is made. In the early afternoon, depart for Shanghai. Enroute, visit Tongli, a well-preserved water town. Upon arrival in Shanghai, transfer to the Grand Mercure Hongqiao Hotel or similar 4-star.

    Day 5: Shanghai - Beijing (B)
    Start the day to the sights and sounds of this unique and modern city of Shanghai. Visit the Bund, known as the “Wall Street” of the former foreign powers, where during the first half of 20th century the European powers controlled the Chinese economy. Then visit the majestic Yu Yuan Garden, built in 1577 and recently restored to its original splendor. Other visits include Nanjing Pedestrian Street and Xintiandi, a shopping and entertainment district composed of an area of restored traditional shikumen ("stone gate") houses on narrow alleys. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Beijing. Overnight at the Novotel Sanyuan or similar 4-star for three nights.

    Day 6: Beijing (B)
    After breakfast, experience the unforgettable! Visit the No. 1 World Wonder – the Great Wall of China, built over 2,000 years ago by Emperor Qin. The Great Wall stretches over 6,000 km across the top of China. Upon your return to the city, drive by the Olympic site and see the National Aquatic Centre (the Water Cube) and the National Stadium (the Bird’s Nest). Tonight, enjoy the “Legend of Kung Fu” show.

    Day 7: Beijing (B/SD)
    Continue your exploration of this historical city with a visit to historic Tiananmen Square where Mao Tse Tung first raised the flag of the People's Republic. Then tour the Imperial Palace, also called the Forbidden City and its gardens. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. End the day with a Peking Duck dinner.
