CanJet Airlines is a division of IMP Group Limited, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Operating scheduled airline service in Eastern Canada until 2006, CanJet is Canada's newest full-service charter airline, providing experienced flight crews and a fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft configured to 189 seating capacity to Canada's top tour operators. In February, 2009; Transat A.T. Inc. and CanJet Airlines entered into a 5-year partnership agreement, effective May 1, 2009, to April 30, 2014. This agreement allows tour operator Transat Tours Canada, operating under the Transat Holidays and Nolitours brands, to charter CanJet narrow-body Boeing 737-800 aircraft flying out of more than 20 Canadian cities to approximately 20 sun destinations. CanJet offers free meals on their flights with a free glass of wine, soft drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages. Snacks and alcoholic beverages are available at an extra cost. In-flight entertainment is offered and you can use your own geadsets, or headsets can be purchased. On South-bound flights, a free glass of champagne is offered. CanJet also offers CanJet Select Class. Starting in November 2010, Canjet will be offering hot meal service on all flights except for Florida flights, where a buy-on-board meal service will be available. |
