Known as the second biggest airport within Sweden, Gothenburg Landvetter Airport is located at a distance of 20 kilometers or thirteen miles from the southeastern part of the Gothenburg city. It serves approximately 4.3 million travellers on an annual basis. The airport operations are managed and controlled by the national airport corporation namely Swedavia.
The airport was officially inaugurated in the year 1977 when passengers that were previously travelling from the Torslanda Airport were shifted to the Landvetter airport. Since then the airport has been upgraded to provide facilities to passengers and currently is under refurbishment that would allow the airport to expand its customer base.

The Wi-Fi service is available within the airport premises and passengers can avail this facility by paying GBP 5 per hour or GBP 12 for day and night activation.

The travelling rates tend to be fixed for one way travel and two way travels.
