Porter Airlines to launch jet service from YYZ Toronto Pearson Airport

Porter Airlines, a Canadian airline known for its exceptional service, has launched jet service from Toronto Pearson International Airport to various destinations, including Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, and Halifax. The airline's debut flight between Toronto and Vancouver marks its first-ever foray into Western Canada.

Porter’s flights to Vancouver began with one daily non-stop return flight, increasing to three daily roundtrip flights by March 22. The airline's new Embraer E195-E2 planes, with their 132-seat, all-economy, two-by-two configuration, offer more personal space for passengers, with no middle seats on any of its flights.

Porter's approach to service has always been remarkable, and the airline's new menu design continues to prioritize sustainability by reducing and eventually eliminating single-use plastics onboard. Biodegradable cups and cutlery, eco-friendly packaging, and high-quality Canadian brands are also part of the new menu design.

Porter’s signature service includes complimentary beer and wine served in glassware, along with a selection of premium snacks on every flight. Longer routes to Porter's network, such as the Toronto Pearson-Vancouver route, include fresh, healthy meals, pre-mixed cocktails, and additional snack options, which can be enjoyed as an all-inclusive fare with PorterReserve or purchased a la carte with PorterClassic fares. PorterReserve also includes dedicated airport check-in, early boarding, enhanced legroom, two checked bags, and the ability to change flights without a fee.

Furthermore, all passengers can enjoy free, fast WiFi, with full access to web surfing or streaming favourite entertainment platforms, on Porter's new planes.
