WestJet Gambles on Vegas

WestJet has introduced new non-stop routes to Las Vegas from Victoria, Regina and Saskatoon. The inaugural flights began September 8 in Regina, September 9 in Victoria, and September 10 in Saskatoon. Showgirls, staff wearing Las Vegas themed attire and an Elvis impersonator greeted passengers at check in to offer a taste of what awaits them in the desert paradise. WestJet is planning more capacity and departure cities in an effort to position itself as the number one carrier to Vegas.
