WestJet launches new service between Edmonton and Maui
Airline makes inaugural flight between Edmonton and Maui today
March 5, 2010 WestJet today announced the launch of new non-stop service between Edmonton and Kahului, Maui. The inaugural flight departs the Edmonton International Airport at 7:30 a.m. MST today. 'It is with great pleasure that WestJet can offer non-stop flights from Edmonton to the Hawaiian island of Maui to our guests over the next few months,' said Hugh Dunleavy, WestJet Executive Vice-President of Strategy and Planning. 'We knew the interest was there and we are confident that this service will be extremely popular with those folks who are eager to escape Alberta's unpredictable spring weather.' WestJet will fly between Edmonton and Maui once weekly until April 30, 2010.
