WestJet launches new service to Grand Cayman
Airline makes inaugural flight between Toronto and paradise today
November 4, 2010 WestJet today announced the launch of new, seasonal non-stop service between Toronto and Grand Cayman. The inaugural flight departs Toronto's Pearson International Airport at 9:40 a.m. EDT today. 'Grand Cayman is a little piece of paradise,' said Hugh Dunleavy, WestJet Executive Vice-President, Strategy and Planning. 'Guests can create their dream vacations with diving excursions, nature tours and some of the best cuisine and shopping in the Caribbean.' WestJet will fly between Toronto and Grand Cayman three times per week: each Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. West Jet flies non-stop from Toronto to some of the most beautiful sun destinations, including Cancun, Montego Bay, Holguin, Varadero, Cozumel, Miami, Freeport, Turks and Caicos, and St. Maarten. As part of its 2010-2011 winter schedule, WestJet is also adding non-stop service from Toronto to New Orleans and Santa Clara.
